Hi! I am Eszter Mate, jewellery designer.
In 2004 I finished my studies at the Hungarian University of Crafts and Design (now it is called MOME) in Budapest
Hungary. Since that I had several exhibitions and projects in Hungary and in some other countries of Europe
like Germany or England.
I am a member of a small art group of four jewellery designers. We regularly have projects, events and exhibitions
in cooperation with dancers and choreographers so that we can show our jewels from a different perspective.
For the time being I live in Brighton, in the UK.
My jewelleries are contemporary and based on unique ideas. I usually use silver in my jewels which I liketo combine
with everyday materials like plastic paper, thread, felt, etc.
I love colours! My jewels are of limited editions or one off pieces.
I work for commission.
